Finally, we are able to introduce an ultimate telephoto lens of 3.0 times high powered yet constructed in compact measurements of 92mm length (without Lens Shade) x 58mm outside diameter (at the largest). Thanks to the State-of-the-art lens designing formula developed here in Tokyo Lab, the new 3-group/5-element construction of high index optical glasses reached up to a high image standard of 220 lines/mm resolution power at center (MTF30%) with three times high powered telephoto magnification. It never reached before.
The Lens Shade and 5-adapter rings come with the lens as a standard accessory.
With the HDP-7700ES lens attached, there will be no influence on F number
of the master lens.

It's a completely new high definition lens made of the high index optical lens with a 2-group/4-element formula. This new concept in designing the lens made it possible to achieve an amazing high definition telephoto lens of the 340 lines/mm resolution power at center (MTF30%), low dispersion and the increased light transmittance at fringe area.
It is necessary to mount RA5237B adapter ring (Included in DCR-1542PRO/DCR-1541PRO)
when mounting the lens on the HDC-SD9, HDC-HS9, HDC-SD5/HDC-SX5 cameras.
There is no difference in the quality of lens betweenDCR-1542PRO, DCR-1541PRO and DCR-1540PRO.
